The Narragansett Electric Company d/b/a Rhode Island Energy (“Rhode Island Energy” or “Company”), an investor-owned electric distribution company serving customers in Rhode Island, seeks proposals for the supply of energy as well as Renewable Energy Certificates and related attributes (collectively, “RECs”) from eligible renewable energy projects under one or more long-term power purchase agreements (“PPAs”). This RFP is being issued pursuant to the Long-Term Contracting Standard for Renewable Energy (the “LTCS”) pursuant R.I. Gen. Laws Ch. 39-26.1. The Narragansett Electric Company d/b/a Rhode Island Energy will be seeking an Eligible Facility at a specific site that is between 20 MW and 150 MW. The structure of the contract must be both unit-specific and unit-contingent and the delivery point under the contract must be located within ISO-NE.
