Rhode Island, Massachusetts, and Connecticut are extending their respective offshore wind RFP schedules, which will also extend the schedule for the receipt of Multi-State Bids. Bids are now due on March 27, 2024. Extending the solicitation schedule will allow for the possibility of further guidance from the IRS regarding key tax credits that are available to offshore wind projects, including the Energy Communities 10% bonus.

Rhode Island Energy will make best efforts to respond to written questions received after the deadline provided in Section 3.1 of the RFP, but is not obligated to do so.
