The Narragansett Electric Company d/b/a Rhode Island Energy (“Rhode Island Energy” or “Company”), an investor-owned electric distribution company serving customers in Rhode Island, seeks proposals for the supply of energy as well as Renewable Energy Certificates and related attributes (collectively, “RECs”) from eligible renewable energy projects under one or more long-term power purchase agreements (“PPAs”).

Pursuant to Section 3.4 of the 2026 LTCS RFP, each bid must be uploaded to the designated ShareFile Site. Bidders must request a unique link at least three (3) business days prior to the due date. The Due Date for Submission of Proposals is October 14, 2026, by 12:00 p.m. EPT (noon). The full LTCS Schedule can be found here.
Each submitted proposal must be accompanied by a non-refundable bid fee. Wire transfer instructions will be sent to bidders who contact CleanEnergyContracts@pplweb.com.
